About this event

Kat Weaver is an entrepreneur and advocate for female and underrepresented founders. She successfully sold and exited her first company that started out of her dorm. She now helps pre-seed and seed founders with her 2nd company, PowerToPitch, go from confused and frustrated to confident and prepared while pitching their company in order to take advantage of funding opportunities, such as grants and venture capital.

Instead of giving up on her first business after losing everything to a fire, she learned how to tell her story and make her passion for her business contagious. She won 22 pitch competitions and got six figures of capital to scale. Then FedEx posted a video about her top pitch tips - it went viral and she had founders searching her out to coach them. So she created, PowerToPitch, to help founders raise capital and pitch with my successfully tested methods.
