Fahmida Naz is a lawyer by profession but the term “lawyer” alone does not do justice to this wonder woman. She currently runs her own law firm and 2nd largest travel portal of Pakistan and is also a mother of four.

Fahmida, being frequent travelers, realized that there was no singular platform for travelers to access all the information needed about prospective destinations. This realization led to the creation of MakeAtour.pk, a one stop online portal for anyone looking to travel within Pakistan. Fahimda talked about her passion for discovering new things and cultures. “It is one thing to read about the cultural and topographical diversity of Pakistan in school books and it is an entirely other thing to witness it firsthand, “she says. She speaks particularly fondly of the area of Kalash and how even subtle differences in everyday life can move you. Her travel portal also deals with international clients and it is promoting the positive image of Pakistan which Fahmida finds particularly rewarding. Upon being asked how she is able to divide her time so effectively, she says, “it is very important to understand that the quantity of the time you give to something is not nearly as important as the quality of that time.” In the future, Fahmida hopes to open her offices in a number of international cities to facilitate both foreigners coming into the country and the Pakistanis wishing to travel abroad.
