Following the success of the first event with Thang Bui (CEO / Co-founders Bravebits), on this March 20th Startup Grind Hanoi continue our event series of connecting and sharing between entrepreneurs, with a special guest: Ms. Dao Thu Hien - CEO of Golden Path Academics, CEO and co-founders of Rockit Online. Hien worked for two leading media agencies: AP, Bloomberg with 6 years experience of working in the office of the Mayor of New York City. She was also the senior adviser to the UPD Consulting in the US. She graduated from department of journalism at Columbia University in 1998 and received a Master's degree in management from Harvard University in 2005, and is currently a member of the Advisory Board Alumni Kennedy Institute of Politics at Harvard. Hien is the CEO and co-founders of Rockit Online -  a live online education company that focuses on teaching students courses in math, science, english and test preparation (IELTS, TOEFL, TOEIC). It aims to connect young middle and high school students with teachers (Rockit currently employs 50) who work with students in class sizes no more than five people at once. Rockit Online just secured a US$500 thousand investment from three investors in the Silicon Valley: Learn Capital, John Katzman, and Formation 8. Her first startup which she is still the CEO, Golden Path Academics (GPA) - an education services company specializing in the fields of English teaching, skills training and American overseas education consultancy. GPA is an organization as well as a partner of domestic and foreign organizations in the fields of training English and soft skills, organizing local and international summer camps.
