In this meetup, we are honored to host Mrs.Christy Le/ Le Diep Kieu Trang - an inspiration woman was behind the success of Misfit, Facebook in Vietnam. And now, she is the women riding wheel of Go-Viet, Go-Jek’s Vietnam affiliate.
For many years, technology startup is a male dominated industry. Back in 2010, Kara Swisher, an American journalist pointed out that there are zero women on the boards of the biggest most prominent Web 2.0 companies: Facebook, Twitter, Zynga, Groupon and Foursquare.
Few years later, the world saw great movement of powerful women joined BOD of startup unicorns such as Sheryl Sandberg joined Facebook in 2012 or Martha Lane Fox joined Twitter in 2016. In Vietnam, we started to see a few women who make it to the top of successful startup companies.
