He has since played a part in major shifts across the technology and creative industries spanning Asia and the US. Leveraging his expertise in story-telling, design thinking and digital strategy, Amit helps companies transform, optimize, and catalyze their growth opportunities.
Chris Ransford is the Enterprise Sales Manager of the Asia Sales team for Twilio. He leads a team of Sales Consultants who help Enterprise customers build the future of communication.
He is passionate about Customer Engagement and helping Enterprises unlock themselves from legacy systems and move the most critical part of the business into the cloud. This Flexibility to change engagement from channel to channel simply with some Web development skills really enlivens the business. This is where the Customer-Centric part of Communications can happen at scale in a global manner. The ability of companies to develop software that can iterate across multiple different channels and send communications to the right person with the right context at the right time is an exciting place to be.
Prior to Twilio, Chris spent a total of 16 years at Verizon Business which included 8 years in the UK involved with Verizon’s Security Solutions team before moving to Hong Kong in 2008 to work in the Global Services Division. Chris has helped Verizon Go To Market across Asia including Hong Kong, Taiwan, Korea, Singapore, and India. Most recently, he led the Cloud practice for Verizon across the North and South East Asia region.
Chris holds a BA from Leeds University in the UK in Geography and Management Studies. In his free time, you can find him playing football and traveling across far reaches of the globe on a motorbike.
