PassKit was born out of innovation when Paul, Co-founder & CEO, and his business partner, saw application for their carrier-grade finance cloud infrastructure to power Apple Passbook. In 2015, PassKit was included as one of the only software solutions in Intel’s IoT Solution Alliance and in 2016 Hong Kong Business named PassKit as one of the hottest start-ups. Today, PassKit is powering millions of mobile experiences on behalf of clients all over the world; including Best Western, DFS, Azul Airways, JetStar, Resorts World, and AIA. Prior to PassKit, Paul spent ten years in financial services, where he served on the board of directors at Credit Suisse Business Analytics, and designed and implemented HSBCnet for HSBC. Paul’s career began in the automotive industry where he was instrumental in the introduction of lean process engineering for many of today’s Ford vehicles. Paul holds a first class honours degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton and an MBA from Henley Management College in the UK. He has lived in five countries around the world with the last eleven years spent in Hong Kong, where he lives with his wife, four children and two cats.
