Mentorship is our theme for this month at Startup grind. In light of this, we would be discussing how mentorship can fully prepare you as an undergraduate to become a graduate who is highly resourceful, that can create opportunity from problems and compete globally.
The existing educational systems were built to develop competencies for specialized professionals, literacy, numeracy and academia that cannot keep up with the current speed, scope and size of change happening across the world and driven by technology and disruptive business models. In order to adapt to the nature of change happening globally, SB Africa shifts away from the gaze from skill acquisition to capacity development as the tool for developing talents across Africa.
