Product development typically refers to all of the stages involved in bringing a product from concept or idea, through market release and beyond. In other words, product development incorporates a product’s entire journey, including; Identifying a market need, Conceptualizing and designing the product, Building the product roadmap, Developing a minimum viable product (MVP), Releasing the MVP to users, Iterating based on user feedback.
Toyin Olasehinde is a Product Manager with experience in managing two launched fintech products in Nigeria and other software related projects. He currently serves as the Product Manager for Payloader, A newly launched Fintech Platform in Nigeria that has gotten funding and support from the likes of Tony Elumelu Foundation, Startup Istanbul and Global Startup Ecosystem.
Toyin Olasehinde is the product manager at Mettalloids Limited with over 4 years of experience in the tech sector.
Toyin's hunger to learn made him seek internship position about five years ago as a design Intern. His resourcefulness and knack for business was noticed within a very short time and got him transferred to the Business Development Unit of Mettalloids Limited where he eventually rose quickly to become the head of the department.
While the organization went through transition period from Waterfall to Agile Management approach, Toyin yet again evolved quickly with his ability to learn quickly and soon became the Scrum Master, working closely with the product development team.
In 2019, Toyin rose to the position of Product Manager at Mettalloids Limited, A software engineering company in Nigeria and already has a fully launched B2B product in Payloader under his belt. He is passionate about user’s experience with products and has since onboarded major clients like E360 Africa, Smartflow on Payloader.
Payloader has gotten funding and support from the likes of Tony Elumelu Foundation, Startup Istanbul and Global Startup Ecosystem.
Toyin is also a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University with a B.Sc in Psychology. He is a supporter of Liverpool Football Club.
