Startup Grind Orange County, LearningFuze, and By Any Means are excited to finish off the year with a Design Workshop that will then kickoff a month-long hackathon. Charlene Chand will kickoff the night with an introduction to the world of design, the UX process, and problem solving through the use of UI as well. We will then learn about By Any Means, their work helping the homeless, and how we can help them improve their website. Learn more about everyone involved below.

By Any Means, abbreviated as BAM., is a community-service organization dedicated to alleviating homelessness by any means possible, whether it be through preparing dinner services at local shelters, running educational workshops for at-risk youth, and distributing hygiene kits, or community education campaigns raising awareness for the issue of homelessness, through donation drives and fundraisers. While our objective is to venture beyond the University of California, Irvine campus and aid the various homeless shelters in the Irvine, Santa Ana, and Anaheim districts, we also strive to encourage our members to integrate and apply other disciplines towards raising awareness for the homelessness cause through interdisciplinary projects, such as video awareness projects, Human of New York style interviews and publications.
Above all else, BAM is an organization that serves to compassionately provide the feeling of completeness that a home can bring for both the homeless and for our own members. We welcome all who may want to lend a helping hand and welcome all who seek help.
