Join us for an inspiring fireside chat with Andrew Jervis, CEO and Co-Founder of ClickMechanic.
Andrew comes from a family of mechanics and with the automotive industry in his blood, he took the tech route and founded ClickMechanic in 2012 to bring car repairs to customers' doors and disrupt the industry in the process.
ClickMechanic was founded as a simple solution to the age-old problem of getting an honest, trustworthy and transparent mechanic for your car. While running a previous car parts aggregator business, Andrew found a problem with many customers not trusting their mechanics. After further investigation and a chat with his mechanic brother, he realised there was just no easy way to book a trusted mechanic. He then decided to study for a research masters in Manchester where he devoted himself to understanding these problems better.
Today, ClickMechanic works with 100,000s of drivers and 1000s of mechanics to facilitate a far easier and more trusted car repair experience for both drivers and mechanics through its industry-first platform. ClickMechanic has been recognized and awarded for its innovation and disruptive technology by Amazon Growing Business Awards and the Workshop Power Awards. In 2021, Andrew became a Great British Entrepreneur Award Winner as Small Business Entrepreneur Of The Year.
ClickMechanic has been backed by some of the most reputable names in the industry, including Forward Partners, 500 Start-ups, Entrepreneur First, and Imperial Innovations. The company has also received support from several outstanding angel investors, including the former CEO of JustEat and local tech entrepreneur and investor, Matt Newing.
