Sean X. Yu is Cofounder and CEO of Paraşüt which is a preliminary accounting program and cloud-based financial management solutions for small and medium-sized firms in Turkey. He was born in China and moved to the US at the age of 8. He graduated from the Department of Economics at Harvard University and began his career at Lehman Brothers in New York.

Sean X. Yu
Sean X. Yu is Cofounder and CEO of Paraşüt which is a preliminary accounting program and cloud-based financial management solutions for small and medium-sized firms in Turkey. He was born in China and settled in America at the age of 8. He graduated from the Department of Economics at Harvard University and began his career at Lehman Brothers in New York. He then worked as an analyst at Gryphon Investors a private equity firm based in San Francisco.
In 2010 he moved to İstanbul from San Francisco in order to work for Endeavor which supports the growth and development of startups as a non-governmental organization. At this period, he experienced difficulties while managing the financial transactions of small and medium-sized companies and decided to provide a solution that would facilitate the management of the pre-accounting processes such as billing, revenue-expense tracking. Then, he started Paraşüt together with his partners Andaç Türkmen and Fahri Özkaramanlı for solving these problems at the beginning of 2013.
