Dr Anita Sharma, who survived a polio attack, is a Jaipur-based entrepreneur who teaches driving cars to persons with disabilities (PwD) and elderly women through her initiative called ‘On My Own.’ 

After calling over 2,000 driving schools across India, Anita realised that there aren’t driving schools catering to PwD, which inspired her to a driving school that teaches PwD to drive, and helps them get a licence, as well as customised cars.

Dr Anita's endeavour is to make the country disabled-friendly, one gear at a time, which is why we are excited to host her and learn from her entrepreneurial journey!
