Matsi Modise is the Managing Director of SiMODiSA, an industry association whose mission is to accelerate entrepreneurship in South Africa. She is the founder of Furaha Afrika Holding (Pty) Ltd and former National Executive Director of the South African Black Entrepreneurs Forum (SABEF). Matsi is the founding curator of the Soweto Global Shapers Hub for World Economic Forum (WEF) and is one of the Top 50 Global Shapers. She is a business mentor on SAfm and Radio 2000. Matsi has received numerous awards including Top 30 African leaders by Quartz Africa, Top 100 Young Independent Disruptors by Independent Day Media and Coca–Cola Young Achiever of the year. She sits on various boards including Barclays Africa Shared Growth, The Innovation Hub, Agri-Vie Private Equity Fund and the Free State Land Use Advisory Board.
