Ramsay Daly and Matt Putman are the founders of iKhokha. iKhokha is a Point of Sale Chip & PIN card reader that plugs into your iPhone, iPad or Android. Coupled with the iKhokha mobile app the product transforms the phone into a secure mobile Point of Sale terminal which enables merchants to process card payments anywhere in South Africa.

iKhokha was established in 2012 finance from Capital Eye investments, a technology focused venture capital company.  iKhokha was the first fully South African designed, engineered and manufactured end to end Mobile Point of Sale solution.

Matt Putman is the Managing director and co-founder of iKhokha. Prior to co-founding iKhokha, Putman held senior positions across the digital communications and technology sectors.

Ramsay Daly is the co-founder and Marketing Director and has a strong digital marketing and digital product development background. 

iKhokha has recently partnered with Mastercard to roll out 700 POS terminals to informal settlements and secured a major distribution deal with Game stores across the country.  

At the end of September iKhokha won the Innovation Award at the 2016 Innovation Forum in Budapest, Hungary.
