Opportunities available for Startups in 2019 (What is your 2019 Game-plan?)

By now you're getting into the swing of things for 2019 - Do you have a game plan and are you actioning it? Join us at the first Startup Grind Johannesburg where Marc Ashton will share his insights on the global opportunities for 2019.

Marc is a South African entrepreneur who probably needs his head checked.

Having spent much of his adult life in the world of financial media where he was editor of Finweek magazine for 3 years ad MD of JSE-listed media group Moneyweb for 2, Marc struck out on his own again in 2018 launching not one but two start-ups.

His first was Decusatio - a consultancy aimed at helping entrepreneurs to connect with specialist financing services including Enterprise and Supplier Development and Grant Funding opportunities.

The second was Dynamic Body Technology – an innovative medical technology business whose technology was nominated for 2 innovation awards in the year and was featured in the internationally acclaimed “The Medical Futurist”.

Marc is an advisory member for The SME Movement – a global initiative aimed at tackling the Access to Markets with members in 80+ countries – and has been involved in the roll out of a free resource (https://decusatio.jte.zone) to assist entrepreneurs in finding new clients and opportunities. The goal is to connect 1 million SMEs in 2019.
