Oruame is the Founder/Vice Chairman of Baobab Think Limited - A limited liability think tank on Africa's Investment and capacity building. Baobab Think Limited owns Baobab Media (publishers of baobabafricaonline.com - the African political and economic analysis publication. He is also Founder/Vice Chairman of Qitech Technologies Limited - a tech solution & marketing company. He has stakes in a number of startups. Oruame served on the ICT4D Committee of the Nigerian government and has through KMMIIL successfully helped to manage Nigeria’s participation at the Gitex Technology Show in Dubai, UAE since 2013.
