 Managing Director of Australia-MENA Links Pty with BSc (Hons) (UoK), PhD(Imperial College, London University), DIC, MInfo Tech(QUT), MBA(Exec.) (UQ). a previous Jury of Startup weekend Khartoum 2015 and one of our closest  Advisers .
 in addition to his employment as one of the youngest lecturers – aged 27 – at his alma mater, the University of Khartoum’s Faculty of Engineering in Architecture Electrical Department . Dr Midhat made the move to Australia in 1992. 
 join the Queensland Government’s Economic Development Department. His career spanned assisting businesses with their growth plans, applying for government grants, leading trade missions overseas. 

Other roles during that period included mentoring IT start-ups and active involvement with incubators. Towards the second half of his employment with the Queensland government he worked for the Queensland Government’s Skilled and Business Migration Unit with the key role of vetting business plans from prospective business migrants.

A highlight of that stint of Dr Midhat’s career was a twelve months appointment as the Queensland’s sole representative in the Middle East – Doha, Qatar – as that State’s Trade Representative.
