This session aims to support Sudanese founders in understanding how to access funding opportunities and expand into MENA markets. It offers practical insights and real-world perspectives to help entrepreneurs take informed steps toward sustainable growth and effective market entry.

The session is designed specifically for Sudanese entrepreneurs, both within Sudan and across the diaspora, who are seeking a deeper understanding of how to raise capital and engage with the startup ecosystem in the Middle East and North Africa. It will explore key aspects of the regional landscape, including investor expectations, different funding pathways, the main challenges founders face, and strategies to address them.

The webinar will be delivered by Moustafa Yousri, Associate at +VC, an early stage venture capital firm investing in technology and tech enabled startups across MENA and its diaspora. He brings hands-on experience in startup analysis, due diligence, and market research, along with a strong understanding of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in Egypt and the wider region. He previously worked with Egypt Ventures and Tanmiya Capital Ventures and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from the University of London.
