Joanna Nicholas, Country Director of East Africa Investments (EAI), is an impact investor, social entrepreneur and consultant who has been working in Rwanda for the last 13 years. EAI focuses on seed funding and hands-on support for businesses in Rwanda with the potential for growth and a positive impact on the economy and society. Joanna identifies and supports EAI’s portfolio of start-ups, drawing on her experience running a social enterprise in Rwanda and her 20+ years as a Management Consultant to international organisations.
