#SGWomen:

May is Startup Grind Female Leaders Month where we will host over 150 women on stages globally. Kigali is hosting a series of 3 events, celebrating female leaders in different sectors.

For our first #SGWomen event, we are proud to host Gayatri Datar, co-founder & CEO of EarthEnable: a social enterprise that aims to make living conditions better by installing healthy and affordable floors for low-income families.

Prior to founding EarthEnable, she was a Senior Consultant at Dalberg Global Development Advisors and also worked at the Independent Evaluation Group of the World Bank. She has consulted for the Government of Liberia’s Department of Revenue, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the International Finance Corporation, and grassroots NGOs in India (tsunami relief work), Namibia (women’s health and empowerment), Nicaragua (microfinance), Albania (civil society), and the United States (nonprofit consulting).

She holds a BA in Economics from Harvard College, an MPA/ID from the Harvard Kennedy School, and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she was an Arjay Miller Scholar.

She is an Echoing Green Fellow, a Stanford Social Innovation Fellow, and a Forbes 30 Under 30 recipient.
