CEO and Co-Founder
Mmuso Mafisa is the CEO and Co-Founder of Veza Interactive - an augmented, virtual and mixed realities platform headed up by young creatives’ based in South Africa. He is photographer, filmmaker, and digital innovation specialist at the cusp of 4th Industrial Revolution.
He holds a degree in Audio Visual Communication from the University of Johannesburg. His experience in the entertainment industry spans a decade behind the lens for blockbuster music videos and runaway success television productions.
He has been the resident photographer for Abantu Book Festival from its inception, and recently The Ultimate Book Show with Sihle-isipho Nontshokweni. He is the CEO of Osumm Media Solutions, a multimedia production company specialising in photography, cinematography and online video editing.
Some of the artists and institutions he has worked closely with include National Institute for Humanities & Social Sciences, MTV, Sjava, Oskido, and Ms Cosmo.
I'm Henleo born in 1994 and am passionate about community development and community growth currently the NC provincial Coordinator for mLab. I am also well skilled in working within Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems, I'm always open to new projects, and learning from others. I believe when our youth are empowered with the right skills to innovate they unlock the opportunities to establishing new businesses that will drive our economies forward. THE WORK WE DOmLab runs the CodeTribe Academy which aims to drive inclusive digital innovation in South Africa. The coding programme provides training and work experience to talented youth in the townships .START UP The Enterprise Development programme supports early stage digital-tech founders develop market ready offerings .ECOSYSTEM ACCELERATOR The digital Gen programme is running in order to expose, train and stimulate interest in the ICT sector.
