More than another startup event, Startup Grind is a global startup community designed to inspire and connect entrepreneurs through outstanding meetups. Since 2014, Startup Grind in KL has played a key role in connecting startups, talents and aspiring entrepreneurs to each other and to investors, government and larger organizations who are willing to support startups to grow in Malaysia.
We hosted over 5,000 attendees featuring some of Malaysia's most renowned entrepreneurs including Joel Neoh (Fave/Groupon), Cheryl Yeoh (MaGIC, Reclip.it), Patrick Grove (Catcha Group), Ai Ching Goh (Piktochart) and more.
In this special edition, we're hosted by Endeavor Malaysia, featuring Alexander Fernandez of Streamline Studios, who was recently selected as an Endeavor Entrepreneur at the 68th International Selection Panel in Palo Alto, California on December 12th, 2016.
Formed in November 2013, Endeavor Malaysia today supports 18 entrepreneurs from 13 companies. The board consists of: Chairman Afzal Abdul Rahim (Time dotCom), Dato’ Sri Nazir Razak (CIMB Group), Mark Chang (Jobstreet), Brahmal Vasudevan (Creador) and TS Wong (MyEG).
Endeavor aims to catalyze long-term economic growth by selecting, mentoring, and accelerating high-impact entrepreneurs around the world. Headquartered in New York City, Endeavor is a non-profit organization operating in 27 countries and 52 cities around the world.
To date, Endeavor has screened more than 40,000 entrepreneurs and selected 1421 entrepreneurs leading 886 high-growth companies in a wide range of industries. With support from Endeavor’s worldwide mentor network and partnerships, these high-impact entrepreneurs have created over 600,000 jobs, $8.1B in revenues and inspired future generations to innovate and take risks – creating sustained economic growth in every part of the world.
