After years in a corporate setting, Diane Chia took a leap of faith into the unknown world of startups. Even with no prior experience in the tech environment, she single-handedly managed the GuavaPass China branch, successfully paving a way for Chinese markets.
GuavaPass is a fitness app that offers access to a community of fitness studios and healthy-living experts, with a range of perks across 12 cities in Asia. As the General Manager for GuavaPass Malaysia and China, Diane isn't just an astute business person, she’s also very health-oriented. She is a big believer in eating your greens and exercising at least 6 days a week!

GuavaPass broke into the Malaysian market in October 2017 with 15 studio partners. Under Diane’s watchful eye and fearless thirst for growth, it today has 40 proud partners and growing, with most of them eyeing second and third locations.
A fitness buff herself, Diane's passion and experience in the fitness industry has led to her being sought after for her opinions and thoughts in the market. Having been interviewed by the likes of Malaysia Tatler, Harper's Bazaar Malaysia, First Classe, Buro247 and News Straits Times. She most recently pursued her ACE Personal Trainer certification and continues to be a strong advocate for fitness and all-round healthy living.
