Terry Gold is an entrepreneur, startup and business growth expert who has worked in technology leadership roles for over 25 years. He is the Managing Director of Techstars Adelaide, which is the first Techstars accelerator in the region.

Terry is best known as the co-founder and CEO of Gold Systems, the Boulder-based software firm that provided speech recognition technology and applications to 11 of the top Fortune 20 companies. Under Terry’s leadership, Gold Systems became an Inc. 500 Fastest Growing Private Company and a Deloitte Colorado Fast 50 company for seven years. The company received venture funding from Softbank Venture Capital and was named ‘Best Local Employer’ in Boulder County's Readers’ Choice Awards. .

After leaving Gold Systems in 2014, Terry concentrated on supporting the startup ecosystem and co-founded a community and mentor network for successful entrepreneurs in Longmont, Colorado. In 2016, Terry moved to Australia as Growth Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the Centre for Business Growth at the UniSA – where he worked directly with CEOs and leadership teams to rapidly accelerate their businesses.

A founding member of the Young Entrepreneurs Organization Colorado Chapter, Terry is passionate about enabling startup founders to achieve their goals by sharing his leadership experience and technical expertise.
