​Essa Behbehani is an expert in turning personal passions into successful businesses, having turned his love for cooking and food into a food and beverage empire that stretches across the GCC. He founded Choowy Goowy while still in Kuwait University and during a time when young Kuwaiti entrepreneurs were rare and had little support. Since its inception in 2004, Essa's small cookie shop grew into a company that is now worth 7 million KD. At the heart of Essa's success is his love for good food and his ability to market this food to the masses. He was so successful with his own food and beverage concepts that he is now a consultant for other restauranteurs around the GCC. As one of the first and most successful young Kuwaiti entrepreneurs, he now hopes to educate others on how to turn what they love into a business that is loved by consumers.
