Ali AlMatrouk is the Managing Director of TONS, an online integrated grocery delivery platform where customers can buy their groceries from their favorite stores and have them delivered right to their door. TONS won the Zain Great Idea and went to Silicon Valley in May 2015, and launched in May 2017.
Ali AlMatrouk serves as the Managing Director of Tons, an online grocery platform based in Kuwait. He also serves as the Vice Chairman and Managing Director of The Jadeite Group, a family owned business.
Ali previously served as Core Department Manager at Zain Kuwait; one of the Middle East’s leading Telecom Operators, where his teams were responsible for the planning, implementation and operation of Zain Packet Switched, Circuit Switched and IP Network. Ali joined Zain in 2008 and climbed the ladder to handle Zain Kuwait’s core network. In addition to his myriad pursuits, Ali has served as a board member of the American Business Council – Kuwait, from 2013 to 2016.
Ali received a dual BS/BA degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of San Diego in the United States, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2007.
