Umair Javed, founder & CEO of TkXel, has over 10 years of software industry experience in progressively increasing responsibility positions. A workaholic who specialises in creating high performance product and services teams, he twice created a company from university lab and took it to multi-million dollar stage.

His current venture is tkxel which is a leading technology company in the mobile and social space. Founded in 2008, inside a lab, tkxel started as a services company which quickly went on to sign several big names among Fortune 500 as its customers. The more recent success under tkxel is the launch of a fast growing kids mobile gaming brand, which has already generated 6M+ downloads since its inception a few months back. Besides Industry, Umair has a long affiliation with academia and love for teaching. After receiving his MS with a Gold Medal from LUMS, he went on to teach various MS and senior year CS courses at LUMS and other top universities, for over eight years as an adjunct faculty.
