Syeda Henna Babar Ali, works for the Packages Group. Her experience in marketing, strategic planning and general management enables her to serve on Boards and work with senior management of the Group. As Board Member of Ali Institute of Education, World Wide Fund for Nature, Pakistan and three Family Foundations, her focus is on pursuing philanthropic activities in girl’s education and nature conservation. Schooled for Senior Cambridge at Convent of Jesus and Mary, Higher Senior Cambridge at Cathedral School, she briefly attended Kinnaird College as a private student to obtain a B.A from Punjab University. Her five memorable years at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA enabled her to obtain a B.A and M.A in literature. As a passionate learner who believes that education is a life long learning process, she attended various professional development programs at Stanford, IMD, LUMS, as well as e-learning programs by Cornell University, Jack Canfield and Robin Sharma. Henna wrote her first Urdu poem at the age of 9. She authored 1 book of Urdu poetry and 9 of English, for which she has received recognition and Awards. Most books are distributed free to readers and libraries in Pakistan, to promote poetry reading. She composed spiritual music and developed 3 CDs for free distribution.
