Soha started her career in digital media by freelancing at the age of 16. She worked on developing web content for multiple brands, namely Telenor, Nestle and Bata shoes. Soha is currently employed as a lecturer at Forman Christian College (FCCU) at Lahore. As a young academic, she is responsible for teaching various courses of Management and HR to undergrad students.
She has also worked as a sub-editor for 2 years at one of the top citizen journalism platforms in Pakistan called Parhlo.com. Her experience of dealing with local and multinational brands for their digital reputation significantly increased during this experience.
The outreach of Soha can be seen through her presence on Twitter. Tweeting by @SohaTazz, Soha is labeled as a Pakistani Twitter influencer who speaks on various ethical matters and also works with numerous brands for their digital media campaigns.
Fariha is working at WonderTree as Communication and Marketing Manager. Her job description includes liaison between the company and other parties and strategizing and managing the digital and conventional marketing for the company, while dipping toes occasionally in other tasks such as online sales and grant-writing.
By age 10 she wanted to be a pilot, by age 14 she wanted to be a doctor, by age 19 she was selected from Pakistan for the most prestigious and coveted Youth Education and Study Program, after the end of which she wanted to become the foreign secretary of state. She graduated from Traverse City High School, MI with flying colors and memories of a lifetime.
Electrical Engineer by education, she instead found a natural knack of creating digital content for marketing when she was hired to manage a social media persona during Faysal T20 Cricket series which later went on to become PSL.
An extrovert with strong opinions, she also worked as a Co-RJ in a collaborative Radio show with UNICEF about Youth advocacy covering topics such a substance abuse, career counseling, sexual health etc. She also worked as a Co-RJ in the I am Karachi Campaign Radio show covering the historical, cultural, social and political set up of the city.
She was a part of young and enthusiastic team of Patari, a Pakistani music app which effectively changed the digital landscape of social media marketing by giving an informal, young persona to the digital identity of the brand. Her job description included strategizing and executing the digital launch of some of the biggest Patari projects such as Fanoos, Tabeer, Aslis, The Mix, Fankariyaan, etc. Some of the most engaging and interactive Patari videos can also be credited to her.
After Patari she joined WonderTree whose flagship project is called WonderGames: Augmented reality games made for the cognitive, motor and educational development of children with disabilities. Working hard towards making this world a better place for children with disabilities by providing scalable, inexpensive and accessible tools to assist physiotherapy, it has won many grants such as Seedstar, Shell Tameer, Ignite, Spring Accelerator etc but the biggest feather is being the only start up from Asia and one of the only 11 startups selected from all across the globe for the very first class of Google For Startups Accelerator for SDGs.
