Eric is a veteran entrepreneur, author and public speaker. An Expert in the architecture, development and deployment of large-scale, eventually consistent, distributed systems and the languages and platforms required to support them. His hardware experience spans from IBM mainframe and mid-range systems to fleets of commodity hardware. His software experience spans eventually consistent, actor based distributed systems, complex, declarative, reproducible continuous deployment systems, high-frequency trading systems and financial exchange systems for leading private brokerages. He also has a deep expertise in delivering green field projects and the organizational support and change needed to deliver them.
