Limerick native, Chris Byrne co-founded Cashbook.com in 1992 which pioneered electronic payment and reconciliation solutions on the IBM AS/400 and Microsoft platforms. The products were distributed worldwide by SSA, now Infor. In 1998 he brought Cashbook.com to California with an office in Mill Valley. It was acquired by eProcurement firm Clarus Corp in May 2000 for $60m. Prior to Cashbook.com, he ran the Irish R&D operation for Software 2000 which became Infinium Software.  Chris joined S2K at their Cape Cod HQ after completing a BSc in Applied Mathematics from the University of Limerick. 12 years ago, Chris created messaging and feedback platform, Sensorpro. This email and surveys platform is now has over 10,000 users globally, including Ben & Jerrys, WD40 and many other global brands. In Ireland some companies that use the platform are An Post, Arnotts, Dept of Foreign Affairs and Motortax.ie When not involved in things ‘Techpreneurial’, Chris mentors for Enterprise Ireland and Dingle Coderdojo, which he also founded.  He is also an avid barefoot runner and loves to sail.
