Helena Vieira has been an entrepreneur for the past 13 years. She is a cofounder and was CEO (2005-2013) of BIOALVO SA, a Portuguese natural resources biotech company and has recently started MY.SKINMIX, an innovative concept for personalized & co-creation skincare enterprise. Currently.
Helena is the Executive Director of BLUEBIO ALLIANCE, the Portuguese network for the marine bioresources sector and invited Professor of FCUL, Responsible for the supervision & teaching of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Transfer courses to MSc and PhD Students. 
She is an invited mentor for several national mentoring programs like the Women Win Win Mentoring Platform, Beta-start, National Network of Mentors and Entrepreneurship Passport. 
Helena is also an expert for marine biotech at the European Marine Board and at the International Advisory Board of ERA NET – MARINE BIOTECH.  She holds a post graduation in Leadership & Strategy in Pharma & Biotech, from Harvard Business School, USA and a PhD in Biomedicine from Imperial College of London, UK. 
Mother of a girl, Helena speaks fluently 5 languages and loves to travel.
