About the Speakers:

Carolina Amorim, Co-Founder & CEO at EmotAI

Carolina is the co-founder and CEO of EmotAI, a startup that aims to improve human performance through the use of neurotechnology. Before founding EmotAI, Carolina was a researcher in physiological computing with applications in product design. While in university, she leads a startup based on paper biosensors for detecting contaminants in water, which received the attention of UNICEF. Most recently, she was the Public Relations Coordinator for the non-profit organization, BEST, helping to foster education and networking for students of technology all across Europe. Carolina has earned an M.S in Biomedical Engineering from NOVA University of Lisbon, with a focus in medical imaging and signal processing.

Pedro Trincão Marques, Market Manager - Iberia at Worldcoin

Pedro is a self-starter engaging leader, who can coach and develop cross-functional teams by fostering innovation, a results-oriented environment and accountability.

Currently, he is leading the Portuguese and Spanish markets at Tools for Humanity, responsible for the whole Iberia region operations of the Worldcoin ecosystem.

In 2019 he founded Hug-a-Group is a mental health mobile app that connects people in online support groups, with the help of psychologists.

João Henrique Costa, Co-founder at Kindology

João studied Public Administration before embarking on a Marketing career. He has since worked at companies such as Red Bull, Holmes Place and founded a creativity studio. He joined Ogilvy & Mather Lisbon in the role of Strategic Planner with the portfolio he built while studying. His portfolio includes brands such as BP, Universal Music, Parmalat, Nestlé, Emirates Airlines, Sacoor or Huawei.

He created Aveiro Digital School, became Marketing Director for Ubiwhere, Fiamma, PLM, and is now the Global Head of Marketing for one of the strongest coffee brands in the world – Black Insomnia. In parallel, João is co-founder and CEO of Kindology, a brand with the ambition to become a global community in support of mental health.

Natalie Thomas - Director of Wellness at OncoPower | Meditation Coach | Corporate Mindfulness | Film Production

Natalie Thomas is a meditation teacher, corporate mindfulness coach, and the Director of Wellness at OncoPower, a digital health platform & app that streamlines oncology care for cancer patients and providers. She began using mindfulness techniques at a young age as a junior Olympic diver, and now, with her lifelong yoga, meditation and wellness practices, teaches others how to ease stress and find stillness in their day-to-day lives.

A qualified yoga/meditation teacher & coach, Natalie founded The Now With Nat and has received several training certifications from various int’l institutions around the world. With a range of clients from Microsoft, Upwork, Equifax, SaksWorks, to start-up companies, Natalie uses these tools & techniques to help others cultivate a lasting practice of self-care for inner development.

Natalie has also led retreats worldwide and launched a podcast called The Now With Nat.

Aside from wellness, Natalie has a background in entertainment, having worked for a major film studio in Los Angeles, and is now currently producing movies.

Henrique Braga - Director @ Antler | IESE MBA | ex-Kitch (acq by Glovo), Uber, McKinsey, Walmart

Henrique is an Investment Director for Antler in Portugal.

Previously at Kitch, a Lisbon-based food tech startup later acquired by Glovo, Henrique was part of the founding and leadership team, acting as the VP Operations, Expansion and Business Line.

Prior to that, Henrique worked for Uber in Portugal and Spain, and also for McKinsey & Company and Walmart in Brazil, where Henrique is originally from.

Henrique holds an MBA degree from IESE Business School in Barcelona and BSc in Economics from Unicamp in Brazil.
