A panel discussion: Startup, then scale-up. But how?
WSJ is very kind to invite a limited number of Startup Grind members to a panel discussion on: Startup, then scale-up. But how? It will be moderated by Thorold Barker, Editor, Europe, Middle East and Africa, for The Wall Street Journal.
Many successful startups struggle with knowing how to scale-up. It is time to talk about these specific issues. We are very glad that as part of our Global Female Entrepreneurship Month, we will have not one, but two female speakers on stage.
Eileen Burbidge, Chairman of Tech City UK / Partner at Passion Capital, will be joined by Sarah Wood, Co-founder/Co-CEO at Unruly Media, Suranga Chandratillake, Partner at Balderton Capital & Harry Biggs, Partner at BGF Ventures.
Fortune Magazine called Eileen 'queen of British VCs'. Eileen Burbidge (ex-Apple, ex-Yahoo) is known to go against convention. In 2004 she launched Passion Capital, one of UK's top VC firms. Suranga founded Blinkx and brought it public in in 2007. Harry (ex-Balderton, ex-McKinsey) is founding partner at BGF Ventures and Sarah was named Female Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.
Join us on 1st June at The News Building.
with Sarah Wood, Suranga Chandratillake & Harry Briggs
