About this event

London is one of the world's largest centres for fin-tech. It is time to talk to the founder of one of London's fin-tech pioneers and a London-born unicorn: Nutmeg. Nick left his job as a stockbroker to start Nutmeg because he was frustrated by the exclusivity and lack of transparency in the investment world — and he knew he was not the only one.

Following a business degree at Exeter University, Nick worked at Barclays in the areas of product, banking and wealth management. He was a Divisional Director at Brewin Dolphin and has an MBA from Stanford University.

Nick has been a guest lecturer at Harvard, Stanford and London Business School, a non executive Director at Innovate Finance, and sits on the FCA's Financial Advice Markets Review expert advisory panel.

Nick’s industry and investment views are respected globally and he frequently appears on Bloomberg, CNBC and BBC and has been quoted in the Financial Times, Wall Street Journal and many international publications.

Nick will be joining us to speak about his entrepreneurial journey building Nutmeg into a globally significant fin-tech company and the future of fintech and London's role in it.
