Pitch Battle

For the month of August, the Startup Grind will be hosting #SGPitchBattles. This will be an opportunity for top startups in our community to come together to participate in an online pitch competition. #SGPitchBattles winners will get free membership into Startup Grind's Startup Membership Program, and will also be selected for the Startup Grind Global Pitch Competition in September.

About this event

For the month of August, the Startup Grind will be hosting #SGPitchBattles. This will be an opportunity for top startups in our community to come together to participate in an online pitch competition.

#SGPitchBattles winners will get free membership into Startup Grind's Startup Membership Program, and will also be selected for the Startup Grind Global Pitch Competition in September, hosted in conjunction with Startup members from all around the world for a chance to win many exciting prizes.

How does it work?

1. Submit your application to participate in the Pitch Battle.
2. Five (5) startups will be selected to participate in the Pitch Battle. We will notify the companies selected to participate by Friday, August 21st.
3. The top three (3) will receive an annual Startup Grind memberships and an opportunity to participate in the global Startup Grind Pitch Competition. We are also working to put together a prize package from local entrepreneur support organizations - stay tuned.

First Place

Judging Criteria

Our panel of judges will be grading startups on the following criteria:

1. Value proposition
2. Market opportunity 
3. Technology Product/Service
4. Team
5. Pitch
6. Promotion
