Startup Grind is the world’s largest community of startups, founders, innovators, and creators. We host monthly events in more than 600 cities and 125 countries featuring successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors who share personal stories and lessons learned on the road to building great companies. The Startup Grind community in Madrid has been present since 2014 and has more than 3700 members.

For this event, we have the pleasure to host Lupina Iturriaga, Co-founder & Advisor at Fintonic, to talk about fintech, leadership and her personal and entrepreneurial journey to build and grow Fintonic. Lupina, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from CUNEF (Madrid), where she earned a scholarship for academic merit. She spent some time fully dedicated to banking, first in New York and later in Madrid, where she worked for a few years in cash management and retail banking, and finally she joined IDEON, a leading company in the field of financial consultancy, as a partner.

Lupina Iturriaga has dedicated her career since a young age to becoming an expert in financial planning. She was also interested in entrepreneurship, which inspired her to found Fintonic in Spain. Throughout her professional career she has received over 20 distinctions for her work at Fintonic, including the recognition by Financial Times as one of the 15 women in Fintech you should know in Europe (2020) or the inclusion by Forbes among the 100 Most Creative People in Business (2019).
