Originally from Valencia, Carles has a degree in Industrial Engineering. He completed his training with an MBA by IESE Business School and several programs in Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Harvard Business School. He started his career as strategic consultant in technology and telecommunications, developing several projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Carles joined Uber in Barcelona in 2014 as General Manager for Spain for coordinating and supervising the operations of the company in the country. Since 2015, Carles GM of Uber in Southern Europe, including the management of Spain, Italy, Greece, Portugal, Israel and Turkey.
