Moving around your city has never been simpler than nowadays. With so many options to choose from, the long tedious commuting journeys are gone…at least in theory. Madrid is one of the few cities in the world where we can enjoy a variety of transportation means, from the more traditional cars, bikes, scooters to the ones meant for mass transportation like busses and trains; lately, though, we’ve witnessed an explosion in virtually every corner of the mobility sector with the inclusion of newcomers like Cabify and Uber, disrupting the way we rent a car with chauffeur, all the way to car sharing companies, motorbike sharing (either electric ones or not), bike sharing and the last mile solution - AKA mocromobility - the electric scooter. Much has been said about this niche: there’s no space for so many competitors (so far 20+ in Madrid); this is a capital intensive business; operational excellence is key to take this business off the ground; policy makers are falling behind the trend, etc, etc… This time, we are thrilled to count with the co-founder and co-CEO of Koko: Oriana Circelli. We’ll dive deep into the details of her entrepreneurial journey all the way through Koko’s EXIT (to Circ - former Flash), while answering some of the more complex questions about this sector, its present and future challenges and more. Join us to learn first hand the true story behind micromobility while mingling with our local community of like minded people.
