Worked on IoT and blockchain projects in smart parking, smart cities for major clients in Europe and China including McDonald’s and The Wanda Group. Me and my team connected millions of clients across nation-wide retail centres, delivering the newest innovation B-to-B with a B-to-C solution. During this time, I launched over 10 products connecting offline items to the Internet, given the ability to gather data from points that were previously unreachable.
During this time, I also participated in several shows about the newest technology including Wanda’s own Panda TV channel and Malta’s first 24/7 blockchain news channel - Bloxlive TV (which I set up from scratch). This has helped me to achieve a significant following within the blockchain scene with over 10 000 followers on social media including key influences such as CZ from Binance, Stephan Tual from Ethereum Foundation and Julian Boutercoup from Flying Carpet.

Back in 2015, at the age of 18, Zach Ciappara founded FreeHour, a mobile application that allows University and College students to share their timetable / schedule with their friends, solving the difficulty of finding common free slots to meet up, study or grab a bite on campus.
After winning a local start up fund to be further developed, FreeHour took the local market by storm, with over 60% of the Maltese student population using it as their go-to student app.
FreeHour will be exploring international markets as of 2019 with the aim of growing its student user base overseas.
