As an entrepreneur and technology transfer professional, Sam advises the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, TEDCO, and IEEE Clinical Trials Modernization Working Group on human-centric AI.

Jesse Alton, founder of Virgent AI, guides mid-stage companies through AI adoption and enablement. He teaches at MICA, volunteers with the MTC, TEDCO, the U of M, and co-chairs the W3C Open Metaverse Interoperability group.

Sean Makulowich is the Founder & CEO of IdeaFire™, an award-winning AI and marketing consulting firm. For over 20 years he has advised startups, small businesses, and global enterprises on how to leverage technology to accelerate growth and innovation. He has delivered 200+ training programs and speaking engagements for some of the world’s largest organizations such as The IMF and Volvo Group. A lifelong technologist and futurist who began building computers at age 11, Sean started studying AI when Google acquired DeepMind in 2014 – the same year he launched his business.
