Craig Blair is a co-founder and partner at AirTree Ventures, a $60 million venture capital fund focused on investing in technology-based businesses that are disrupting traditional markets. Craig is a serial entrepreneur and an active angel investor, he has spent the past fifteen years building and investing in some of the leading digital media and technology businesses in Australia and the UK. Craig’s experience includes five years as Executive Director of netus, two years as founding CEO & Executive Chairman of Beamly and four years as Director of Travelselect/Lastminute.com. At netus, Craig's role was to source investments and partnerships and to establish and support the management teams within netus' investments. As Corporate Development Director of travelselect.com, one of the first online travel companies in the UK, Craig was responsible for raising venture capital finance, online marketing, business development and finance. He led the sale of the business to lastminute.com in 2002 in a transaction that generated significant returns to investors.Craig’s earlier career involved civil engineering, management consultancy and in investment banking. Craig holds a Bachelor of Engineering (civil) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from INSEAD.
