What happens when your passion for design and giving back collide? Meet Edward Bogard, founder and CEO of SoGiv. SoGiv is the world’s first non-profit shoe design Co. dedicated to using shoes as pathways for philanthropy, volunteerism, and charitable causes. SoGiv has adopted twenty causes, each of which receive 100% of the proceeds generated through each shoe sold. Each SoGiv shoe design reflects an organization’s logo and promotes their mission through fashion and branding. Most importantly their shoes seek to raise awareness and inspire volunteerism for the causes that impact the greatest needs in the cities they serve. SoGiv is changing the world one shoe at at time!

SoGiv uses more than shoes to funnel resources to the less fortunate including coat drives during the winter months to teaching kids how to read and write code through their SoGiv Code initiative. His SoGiv Hunger Awareness shoe design created for the Mid-South Food Bank in Memphis, TN has generated over 13,000 meals to families facing food insecurities and over 500 shoes to local children living in poverty across the MidSouth. Inspired by his mother’s life long career in education and her heart to give back to struggling families throughout the school year. Followed by his father’s military service and artistic abilities; they instilled in him the artistry that would ultimately shape his philanthropic efforts to creatively give back through his gift of design.
