Daphne S. Leger has an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations from The American University. She is originally from France and has become an avid global nomad. Her international background fostered a keen interest in international development which she pursued by working in different multilateral institutions including the World Bank’s Results Unit prior to business school. Daphne is incredibly passionate about business at the Base of the Pyramid and focused on marketing, innovation and social impact at the BOP while in business school. Daphne moved to Mexico City in July 2012 to lead Frogtek’s marketing efforts and became COO at Frogtek in January of this year. Frogtek helps the small shopkeepers in emerging markets to track and control their business. With our Tiendatek software, a tablet and a barcode scanner, they register transactions, get useful metrics and charge credit cards. Our data fuels Tiendatek Data, a Marketing Analytics tool used by companies like Unilever and Bimbo, who for the first time access this valuable information.
