Arturo is a veteran entrepreneur who has been leading the development of the digital industry in Latin America for over 25 years. Arturo is currently in charge of defining and executing the growth strategy of his latest company, Naranya, in Latin America and now into other Emerging Markets of the world, including China, establishing Naranya as the dominant player of the mobile marketing & commerce ecosystem. As a serial entrepreneur, Arturo launched the first online service in the spanish speaking world in 1988, the first real time financial information service in LatAm in 1990, the first Internet company in Latin America in 1995, and the first IPO of a dotcom company in LatAm in 1999. For all his acomplishments in the digital industry, Arturo was named by the Wall Street Journal as the "Apostle of the Internet" in LatAm. Arturo was named "Endeavor Entrepreneur" in 2011 and nominated to the "2012 E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year" and the "2013 Endeavor Entrepreneur of the Year" awards. He is also Board Member of several organizations of institutions such as the Mobile Association MEF, Enlace E+E, Universidad Regiomontana, Instituto Superior para el Desarrollo de Internet, EGADE Business School and Monterrey Tech where he is mostly working on building a network to support young entrepreneurs in Mexico and Latin America. Arturo has recently launched Naranya Labs and Naranya Ventures, an Accelerator & Seed Funding program targeting Mobile & Internet Start-Ups in LatAm.
