About this event

This DEI Month, we partnered with Notman House to invite you to the monthly Happy Hour, including a DEI Panel presented with Next AI.

Talks of a looming recession have been almost everywhere lately and whether you agree or not, it's important always to be prepared for uncertain economic times. Instead of allowing panic to take over, we’ve decided to use the knowledge and expertise of our community as our weapon of choice to understand what are the perspectives of founders in 2023 during these times. Our panel will answer questions such as how to raise money during a recession, how to retain employees, how the recession impacts founders (especially women and BIPOC founders) in their personal lives, and much more.

The panel will be followed by Notman's monthly Happy Hour powered by The National Bank of Canada.
