About Bootcamp 2022

Each year the Entrepreneurship BA programme at Northumbria University starts with a bang! The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp brings together students from each year of the degree programme for an intensive week of events, workshops, presentations and challenges to help kick-start entrepreneurial activity for the upcoming academic year.

This year’s activities will begin on campus with an Apprentice-style challenge, panel discussions, workshops and presentations, before culminating with a real business challenge, and external workshops at TusPark (1st Floor) and networking facilitated by Startup Grind Newcastle at co-working space Floe.

Workshops available

Design Thinking workshop

Design thinking is an iterative process in which you seek to understand your users, challenge assumptions, redefine problems and create innovative solutions which you can prototype and test. The overall goal is to identify alternative strategies and solutions that are not instantly apparent with your initial level of understanding.

Entrepreneur Mastermind

The purpose of a mastermind is to gather like-minded people about a specific topic and come up with innovative solutions to solve the challenge together. Members of the group provide each other with their collective input, experience, support and accountability.

Business Challenge

Groups will be working on a real business challenge from two startup companies: Safer Date and The AutoRing

Certificates of completion will be issued to all Participants!
