Christian Scheder is the President of XPAL Power, a portable power company in Irvine, California. XPAL Power produces portable power products and charging solutions for laptops, cellphones, tablets, and other devices and also houses three successful brands, Energizer Energi-To-Go, SpareOne, and PowerSkin.
Christian attended Colgate University where he attained a B.S. in International Business. After college Christian was offered a position at Cushman and Wakefield, but unfortunately at that exact moment, a car accident provided him with an even stronger life lesson. Christian left the offered job to follow his heart (to live life to its fullest), and became a Professional Windsurfer. He ultimately was ranked 4th in the US and 28th in the world. After this accomplishment Christian decided to merge his education with his passion and settled down in Colorado to ski and start the next chapter of his life.
It was here that Christian’s entrepreneurial spirit led him to open an energy efficiency company called Rising Sun. After solid growth Christian sold his half of the company to his partner, to take on a new role as Vice President of ETL Inc., a company that revolutionized the energy efficient showerheads and household fixtures category. Christian found another need in the power industry and gave life to his next endeavor, Smart Concepts, a company that specialized in energy efficient lighting and transportation. During this time, Christian also did consulting for ZAP Motor Company at an integral point in their public growth.
Christian’s depth of knowledge in the power industry and keen sense for product design led him to create XPAL Power with Douglas Chen (CEO of
Tennrich International Corporation) in 2007, where he innovates today.
