In 2010, Co-Founders Brett Rosin and Grant Brown, childhood friends founded the company in Winfield, IL and began to build and manage a rich collection of 155 sports team blogs that would eventually blossom into one centralized hub known today as RantSports. Since June 2011 Rant, Inc. has raised over $7.3M from various investors. Rant Media Network currently owns and operates: RantSports, RantLifestyle, RantChic, RantStore, RantHollywood, RantCars, RantGames, RantGizmo, RantDating, RantPets, RantFood, RantLaces, RantFinance, RantPolitical, RantGirls and continues to expand. In 2014, Rant transitioned its headquarters to Irvine, CA and currently has 20+ full time employees to complement its expansive writing staff.  Forbes listed Rant, Inc. as #31 on its 2015 America’s Most Promising Companies with a revenue of $17.2 Million as of January this year.

Grant first began working with web-based start-ups while studying at Southern Illinois University – Carbondale where he graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Web Development. Grant began to pursue his own business ventures while finishing up his degree. As Chief Revenue Officer of Rant, Inc. Grant oversees all forms of monetization and revenue generation.
