Hayes Drumwright is the CEO of Trace3, CEO of PoP and managing partner of the venture capital firm InstantScale. That said, he is more comfortable talking about his failures than his successes. After being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 21, Drumwright realized that as long as you have your health, there is little to fear in failure. Since then he has launched many interesting startups. With eight years of minor successes and large failures under his belt, Drumwright used $100 to start Trace3. Today, Trace3 generates over $400M in sales and has spawned new ventures in its wake.
